The AI player named ‘Libratus’ lived up to its ‘balanced but forceful’ Latin name, leaving humanity folding under the relentless pressure applied by a machine which could learn from its own mistakes while defeating 4 professionals during the ‘Brains vs Artificial Intelligence’ tournament recently held at the Rivers Casino in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
According to the researchers who developed ‘Libratus’, the victory margin was so large they determined there was a 99.98 percent chance the AI victory was NOT due to ‘chance’.
And as we hear in the new 1st video below from RichieFromBoston, “this victory should send a shiver down everyone’s spine” as the AI player was able to not only soundly defeat but also fool its opponents in the process.
Richie reminds us that this wasn’t a game of chess ‘Libratus’ was playing but poker, a game played with ‘imperfect information’ as the players must deal with the uncertainty of two hidden cards as well as unrestricted bet sizes. They also report that an AI that performs well at no-limit Texas Hold’em “could also tackle ‘real-world problems with similar levels of uncertainty.”
And while poker-playing ‘artificial intelligence’ might not sound like anything that we need to be worrying about, another brand new AI story that the Drudge Report linked to earlier this week might cause us a bit more concern.
Hawking warned us that “once humans develop artificial intelligence, it would take off on its own and re-design itself at an ever increasing rate” and “the development of full artificial intelligence could spell the end of the human race.” And as we learn from the story of ‘Libratus’ the poker-playing AI mentioned previously, AI is already taking off on its own, ‘re-designing itself’ to the point that it ‘left humanity folding under relentless pressure‘.
Claiming “the most sophisticated autonomous robots could be established as having the status of electronic persons with specific rights and obligations, including that of making good any damage they may cause”, they also report that “humanity stands ‘on the threshold of an era’ in which artificial intelligence could be responsible for a “new industrial revolution.”
As Quayle tells us in an SQnote he left on that story, “THE EU HAS LOST THEIR HUMANITY, AND ARE EMBRACING ‘TECHNO POSSESSION’ (WHEN DEMONS INHABIT MACHINES) AND ARE INVITING HELL’S SMORGASBORG INTO THEIR COUNTRIES”.
Should the human race be concerned about the vast and rapid proliferation of AI around the world as Hawking and Quayle have warned us? In the final video below we hear about Quayle’s book Xenogenesis which reveals a future of terror that will soon face human beings.
Monsterous creations are being developed with secret technology in labs around the world. It is a Future of Unimaginable Horrors …created for our planet by unseen masters.
This horrifying future targets God’s original creation for corruption. Evil forces hope to use fallen angel technology to shift the balance of power from God and mankind to Satan and his followers; monsters will soon be presented as our saviours, with hollow promises of eternal life without the need of God or morality. This book offers hope. There is a way to avoid the dangers and ultimately save mankind…
